Getting to know Holly Brettell

Hey, Im Holly I grew up in Colorado and have worked almost a decade in the field of social work and mental health. I earned my undergraduate degree in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder Go Buffs and went on to receive my Master of Social Work from the University of Denver. It can feel so isolating and sometimes even shameful to face challenges in mental health and in relationships. I know that and I see that. My goal is to be able to hold all of these heavy feelings with you, so you arent alone. Sometimes the most important work for us to do is to say what we are facing out loud and be okay sitting with the discomfort. Life is messy and we can clean it up together. In therapy, I believe that you are in charge, and you get to choose your healing journey and set your goals. What I get to do is witness you and support you in reaching the goals you set. Our time is your time, so you get to decide what we do whether thats talking about a movie that resonated with you, lyrics that made you cry, or the funny thing that happened to you last week. I welcome you to bring all parts of you and I will be there to meet you with humor, compassion, and care.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
