Do you feel lost and alone? Do you feel unsure of where to turn for help? Look no further-I am here to help you find yourself and your way. I work with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and substance abuse who feel lost and alone, guiding them back to themselves. I assist people in identifying their goals and reaching them in a therapeutic, positive manner. I also help individuals recognize behaviors that may be holding them back and learn healthier, more positive habits. I believe in creating a welcoming atmosphere where each person can feel comfortable and heal at their own pace. In our sessions, I meet individuals with compassion and use evidence-based techniques such as CBT and DBT to help overcome the hang-ups and habits holding them back. I hold a Master's degree in Psychology from Union College and a Bachelor's degree from Troy University, which have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you on your journey to wellness.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe seeking counseling takes courage and strength and as such, should be commended in seeking help. I hope that each individual is able to leave sessions with me with their own individual goals and a feeling they can accomplish their goals. Seeking therapy can feel scary for some individuals. Everyone deserves a safe space to heal and grow. During our initial session, I will complete a Behavioral Health Assessment that will help us to determine your goals for counseling. After your initial session, we will work on meeting each individual goal you have made for counseling, so that can end the continuous cycle of depression and anxiety you may find yourself on.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
