After earning her master's degree in Agency Counseling from Whitworth University, Holly worked as a Designated Mental Health Professional (DMHP) doing crisis work. She volunteered at Serve Moses Lake in Washington, conducting intakes and counseling for those in need of food, clothing, and shelter.
Throughout her own life's journey, Holly has pursued extensive training, becoming a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with specialized training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Brain spotting. Returning to Wisconsin to be closer to family, Holly continues to provide compassionate and effective care. At LifeStance Health, Holly works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma, and those needing anger and stress management skills. She employs a variety of therapeutic modalities, including EMDR, Brain spotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Gestalt therapy.
Holly also offers life coaching to help clients achieve their personal and professional goals. In her therapeutic approach, Holly is guided by her belief in the inherent strength and knowledge of each of her clients.
