I take a strength-based approach, and I work with clients on spirituality and meaning-making, creativity, dream analysis, relationship issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, stress related to disability and other discrimination, grief, chronic illness, losses, and life changes. My interests are in social justice, coping with discrimination, health and wellness, and resilience. My approach My approach is strength-based and combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, existential-humanistic, and transpersonal therapy. My journey to therapy What drew me to therapy was my interest in social justice work while I was attending the University of Washington for my undergraduate education, and did peer counseling with students. I have always been interested in helping people, I enjoy hearing people’s stories, and I also find that in the therapeutic process I learn more about myself. Through my therapy journey, I have gained much experience in working with diverse people. In addition, during my time at Saybrook University, I received training in spiritual approaches to therapy, dream analysis, and lucid dreaming therapy.
