Hope Brown, MA

Hope Brown, MA

Psychotherapist
MD
It's essential for everyone who is struggling to feel heard, understood, and to have safe spaces where they can express themselves, challenge negative patterns when necessary, and find support. My primary goal as a therapist-now and always-is to provide a safe haven where individuals know they are not alone and don't have to face their challenges by themselves. I want people to feel supported, and it's a true honor for me to be part of their journey. Together, we will navigate challenges, question limiting beliefs, and process experiences to release guilt and seek healing from past traumas. Ultimately, I aim to help you reconnect with yourself and recognize the inherent awesomeness within you. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Health Services from Trinity Washington University, which has equipped me with a strong foundation to support my clients effectively. My approach includes Trauma-informed Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. My clinical experience includes working closely with individuals facing depression, anxiety, dissociative identity disorder, PTSD, and those in the LGBTQIA+ community. I'm committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can express yourself, receive support, and explore solutions to your experiences. My goal is to help you get to know yourself better, feel heard, and uncover the deeper parts of yourself that may have been hidden or neglected.
