Getting to know Hope Nalpantidis

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in OCD, anxiety, and medical trauma. I have advanced training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and incorporate somatic approaches to help clients better understand and manage the physical impact of anxiety and stress.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I began my career working with children on the autism spectrum and other neurodivergent youth, experiences that continue to shape my approach today. I understand that anxiety, trauma, and medical fears can look different from one child to the next, and I believe treatment should be tailored to each individual’s unique needs, strengths, and experiences. I also work closely with caregivers, recognizing the important role families play in supporting lasting growth and healing. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based care. Having experienced a major childhood loss and period of displacement after a house fire, I understand how deeply fear and uncertainty can affect a person’s sense of safety and well-being. That perspective continues to inform my work today, helping me support children and families with practical tools, resilience, and hope as they move through challenges and healing.
