Psychotherapist
GA
Hi there, I'm Hope! Thank you for taking the time to connect and converse with me. My name is Hope Snell-Linder, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Psychology from the University of Phoenix. I have been providing counsel to adults, adolescents, couples, and groups since 2016, and I absolutely enjoy it. It is a privilege to work with individuals and help them move toward a more successful, fulfilling, enjoyable, confident, and productive future. My approach I currently utilize the following therapeutic approaches: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Focused CBT. I incorporate the Person-Centered/Client-Centered approach with each of my clients. Moving forward, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will also be added to my list of therapeutic approaches, as I am currently receiving training to be certified in that area. My focus Clients I typically work with include adolescents, adults, couples, and groups of all races, backgrounds, and ethnicities. I work with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, relationship issues, communication struggles, and more. I feel comfortable working with anyone willing to be open, honest, and ready to collaborate as a team to create a happier and healthier future. My communication style I am a counselor who enjoys creating a space where clients feel comfortable sharing. As a Client-Centered Therapist, I meet each individual where they are to ensure they receive the services needed for growth and success. Previous and current clients express that I make them feel safe to share their world with me because I take time to listen, meet them where they are, and work together to find solutions and resolutions to whatever is causing them distress.
