Hello, my name is Ian Hansen, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Massachusetts Global. The evidence-based practices I have experience with include, but are not limited to, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Managing and Adapting Practices (MAP), Seeking Safety, and Parent-Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT). In my work with clients, I strive to maintain a safe and non-judgmental session atmosphere. I promote encouragement, provide empathetic support, and maintain a positive attitude to foster growth. I view treatment as a collaborative process and work closely with my clients to help them achieve their goals and overcome any barriers to treatment that may arise.
