I believe healing begins with feeling seen, heard, and understood. Life's challenges can leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about the future, but you don't have to face them alone. My goal is to provide a compassionate, supportive environment where you feel safe exploring your experiences, discovering your strengths, and creating meaningful, lasting change. I work with adolescents, adults, and couples using a collaborative, client-centered approach that balances emotional exploration with practical solutions. I utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Compassionate Inquiry, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and emotional distress. I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bellevue University and my bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. My experience includes providing mental health services in inpatient and outpatient settings, facilitating individual and group therapy, teaching DBT skills, conducting psychoeducation, assessing suicide risk, and helping individuals build stronger connections with their families and communities. I am committed to creating a therapeutic relationship built on compassion, authenticity, and collaboration, where clients feel empowered to build resilience, increase self-awareness, and create the positive changes they seek. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking with my family, longboarding, playing video games, and watching anime. Having recently relocated from Wisconsin, I am excited to become part of the Colorado community and look forward to supporting individuals and families throughout their healing journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to make the process as comfortable and supportive as possible. I strive to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. I believe therapy is a collaborative process. Together, we'll explore the challenges you're facing, identify your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you move toward the life you want. My approach is warm, client-centered, and tailored to your individual needs, drawing from evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, Compassionate Inquiry, and Solution-Focused Therapy. You don't need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or a major life transition, we'll work at a pace that feels right for you. My hope is that you'll leave each session feeling supported, empowered, and equipped with new insights and skills to continue your growth outside the therapy room.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Every client and every journey is unique, so I tailor the therapeutic process to your individual goals and needs. During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brought you to therapy, reviewing your personal history, and identifying what you'd like to accomplish. Together, we'll develop a treatment plan that reflects your priorities and builds on your strengths. In ongoing sessions, we'll explore the thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and life experiences that may be contributing to your current challenges while also developing practical strategies you can use in your daily life. Depending on your goals, I may incorporate techniques from CBT, DBT, Compassionate Inquiry, or Solution-Focused Therapy. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and paced to meet you where you are, with the goal of helping you build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and create meaningful, lasting change.
