Getting to know Ilusion Millan

Hi there, I'm Ilusion! Hello! Thank you for taking a moment to peruse my profile. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in California. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Pacific Oaks College and my Master's in Clinical Psychology, Marriage, and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. I am grateful to continue my passion for practicing this purposeful work for 7 years now. I provide empathetic, evidence-based care to support clients in navigating life’s challenges by achieving personal growth, self-discovery, and inner healing. Specializing in grief and loss, anxiety, and professional stress and burnout, I work with clients across the adolescent and adult lifespan to help them process emotions, build resilience, and rediscover meaning in their lives. My approach Through evidence-based approaches such as narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused techniques, and art therapy interventions, I create a safe and empowering space for clients to explore their experiences and identify their strengths. My goal is to foster healing, self-discovery, and lasting change in a collaborative and supportive environment. My focus I love working with motivated individuals, through adolescent and adult lifespans, who seek deeper understanding and healing in the face of grief, anxiety, and/or professional burnout. These clients value a collaborative and empathetic therapeutic relationship and are open to exploring their thoughts, emotions, and personal narratives. They might be navigating the loss of a loved one or pet, struggling to find balance in their professional life, or seeking tools to manage overwhelming anxiety. With a desire to grow and make meaningful changes, these clients resonate with an integrative approach, including narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution-focused techniques. They are eager to build resilience, uncover strengths, and reframe challenges into opportunities for personal transformation.
