Getting to know Isaac Ozobiani

It is very common to feel like you don’t have control over your life. I, too, have experienced this and want to alleviate that feeling for others. I began practicing mental health care for individuals and families about 25 years ago and have helped many people in a variety of settings. Some of my work has been used in inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient community mental health, dual diagnosis, intensive outpatient, inpatient detox, and transitional housing facilities. My clientele includes those with behavioral and/or substance addiction. Other issues I address include anxiety, depression, grief, life transition challenges, and anger management. I have worked with adolescents and adults, including the geriatric population, from culturally diverse and socioeconomic backgrounds. I use cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and motivational interviewing techniques to work with clients. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Houston. I collaborate with clients on how to get from where they are in their lives currently to where they want to be.
