Hi there, I'm Isabel! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s in Counseling from the University of Phoenix. I am Latina, fluent in Spanish, and have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with a history of trauma struggling with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, PTSD, behavioral issues, and other related concerns. My approach As a Marriage, Children, and Family Therapist, I use a trauma-informed care approach to provide clients with a safe space and guide them through a process of healing. I work with individuals to create a unique treatment plan that is geared to their needs. I look forward to working with you and being part of your healing journey. My focus I feel my approach works well with adolescents and adults. Most of my career has been in the non-profit sector, working with individuals with severe mental health and behavioral struggles such as Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, Oppositional Defiance, and Anxiety. My communication style My communication style is approachable, friendly, non-judgmental, and transparent. I want my clients to feel comfortable and safe to open up about anything. My journey to mental healthcare I started my career in the non-profit sector working with adolescents with high-risk behaviors. Through that journey, I found my passion in working with people. I got to experience firsthand the need to address issues at their core. My goals for you I start at the client’s level of readiness and meet them where they are. I want them to know that I am here to build a trusting relationship and guide them through their healing journey. We will work together in setting goals that are right for them.
