Hello, I'm Ivy. Being a person today is more challenging than it has ever been. Sometimes we carry habits and beliefs into adulthood that can make it even harder to live well. As we go through life, we develop skills and interpret information in ways that help us survive and cope with our environment. It is the brain's way of protecting us and preventing future pain. None of us is broken, but we may be applying skills and information in the present that are no longer helpful or relevant. I believe that developing awareness and understanding of these core beliefs and instincts is the first step toward healing and creating lasting change. I have experience helping adults and adolescents process depression, LGBTQ+ issues, spiritual abuse, trauma, addiction, and more. It is important to me that our sessions provide you with a safe and unbiased space to sort through whatever is causing you discomfort or pain. I take pride in my ability to provide individualized support to each of my clients. I believe that I offer a unique perspective, and will work hard to develop and prioritize our therapeutic relationship. I am consistently in awe of the human spirit and our capacity for resilience and growth. You have taken a major step toward healing already, and I would be honored to be part of your continued progress. If you feel that we might be a good fit, I encourage you to reach out. Let's take this journey together.
