If you want to feel better, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Using proven techniques within a compassionate approach, I help people move toward living a more grounded, fulfilling life. Whether you’re carrying painful experiences from earlier years, feeling overwhelmed by current stress, or facing both at the same time, I can help! My approach Through a supportive and attuned therapeutic relationship, we’ll identify clear goals and use evidence-based methods to help you move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and confidence. Healing doesn’t require you to relive everything at once. It starts with feeling safe and understood. You deserve not just to cope—but to truly feel better. My focus Negative thoughts about yourself can quietly sabotage healthy living and keep you feeling stuck. Through the use of evidence-based approaches, symptoms can improve, and meaningful change is possible. I work with teens and adults to strengthen functioning, restore balance, and build resilience in the face of trauma and chronic stress. My communication style I bring a unique blend of humor and authenticity to therapy, creating a space where compassion and empathy feel genuine and accessible. When it feels appropriate, laughter can be part of the healing process—it helps us connect, build perspective, and make difficult work feel more manageable. My journey to mental healthcare I became licensed in 1994, have been practicing as part time therapist and clinical supervisor. I have spent years in nonprofit leadership and have a wealth of knowledge and experience in child welfare, behavioral health care programs, community-based services, ID/DD services. I have invested in training, certified in EMDR and TF-CBT.
