Jacki Orton is a licensed clinical social worker with over 18 years of experience specializing in anxiety, depression, PTSD, and trauma. She holds a Master’s in Social Work and a Bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University. Jacki builds a supportive therapeutic relationship to assist clients in navigating their life challenges and achieving a happier life balance. Sessions often include a variety of techniques, integrating cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and mindfulness, as well as more creative approaches such as art, music, and movement. Her professional experience includes working with children and their families with trauma backgrounds and serving as a school social worker in both public and therapeutic day treatment settings. Jacki believes in meeting clients where they are in life and collaborating with them to build a new, more fulfilling future.
Since life is about finding balance, Jacki emphasizes the importance of discovering the joys in everyday life. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors—running, cycling, camping, hiking—and spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
