CA
Hi there, I'm Jaclyn! I am originally from San Diego but moved to Northern California to attend the University of California, Davis, where I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development. I then attended National University in Sacramento and obtained my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. I am licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist by the State of California Board of Behavioral Sciences. I began working in the mental health field in 2000 in the school system with at-risk children. Since then, I have been passionate about helping people achieve their greatest potential and live a more authentic life. I believe in whole-person wellness and finding serenity amidst the chaos of life. I am a firm believer that each person has within them an immeasurable amount of strength—sometimes, it just needs to be realized. And that’s where I come in. My work experience includes school settings, residential treatment facilities, correctional institutions, private practice, community-based organizations, county mental health services, and outpatient services. I have a passion for chemical dependency, as well as co-occurring disorders. I also have significant experience and training in trauma work and trauma-informed care. I am honored to be part of your mental health care team! Awards: Psychiatry Excellence Award 2017 Professional Affiliations: California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT)
