Hello, it will soon be great to meet you as you visit my Grow Therapy Provider Profile. I'm Jacqueline Gibb, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. I work with all ages in the Tampa, FL area. You can meet with me for an in-office visit or teletherapy. I've been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for 9.5 years. I enjoy working with clients who struggle with a wide range of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, PTSD, focus and concentration issues, ADHD, and OCD, to name a few. It can be frustrating when someone struggles emotionally with more negative than positive feelings, keeping them stuck in pain. I have studied the amygdala and how it and the hippocampus interpret emotional, physical, and sexual abuse that can keep a person feeling trapped by negative memories. These painful memories remind individuals of traumatic events. Remember, you're not alone and you are valuable. The trainings I've received can move you toward your life goals, and together, we can reduce the negative thoughts and feelings you've suffered. You can obtain the sense of belonging and joy you deserve without negative thoughts popping up unexpectedly. I also believe psychoeducation is key to healing. This helps you understand thinking patterns and brain reactions and how to reduce and stop negative feelings as you heal. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I treat individuals with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, avoiding stigmatizing labels. I tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to your unique needs. More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
