CA
Hi and welcome! My name is Jacqueline Hazel, and I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Master's in Counseling from the University of Phoenix. I approach therapy from a client-centered perspective. I like to get to know you as a person and then collaborate with you to develop a therapeutic plan that fits your unique needs. My approach My approach to therapy is eclectic. I draw from various theoretical orientations to tailor therapy to each individual. Some of the most common approaches I use include ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Mindfulness, strength-based, solution-focused, and others. My focus I have worked with a diverse range of clients, including domestic violence survivors, teens, adults, children, couples, and families. I have supported clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship issues, and mood disorders. My communication style I bring kindness, empathy, and a sense of humor to therapy while providing a safe, non-judgmental space for you to openly share your concerns. Together, we will lean into your strengths to build insight and growth. My journey to mental healthcare From a young age, I knew I wanted to help people. Personal experiences taught me how valuable therapy can be, especially during challenging times when a strong support system is essential. My goals for you I believe in collaborating with my clients to set goals that are meaningful and achievable for each individual. My first session with you In our first session, I will take the time to get to know you and understand the symptoms you are experiencing so we can create clear, achievable goals for therapy.
