My approach I use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you learn about the relationship between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I will help you identify unhelpful patterns that may be creating issues in your life and teach you how to break out of them. This approach gives you skills to help you manage emotions and behaviors. Based on your unique needs, I may include interpersonal effectiveness skills that focus on your relationship with other people. Your goals and progress are my primary focus. Together, we’ll identify challenges and work on strategies to help you move forward to build your confidence. My focus Do you struggle to find meaning in your life? I work with adults who are having difficulty getting motivated, worry about the future, have difficulty expressing their needs, and with those who have been affected by a traumatic event. I’ll help you understand what you are experiencing and work with you to create a plan to meet your personal goals. I will show you how to begin making small and meaningful changes to improve your life. My communication style I am compassionate and create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I have a transparent style. I strive to create a supportive therapeutic relationship. If we’re working through something challenging, you can expect me to be calm and patient.
