Getting to know Jacquelyn Hatcher
Hello, my name is Jacquelyn Hatcher, and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University with my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from California State University, Fullerton.
I offer both virtual and in-person therapy for clients in the state of California, specializing in individual therapy for young adult and adult clients.
My self-care includes spending time with my husband, cats, family, and friends, as well as gardening, running, and cooking, among other hobbies. I strongly believe in taking care of both your physical and emotional needs for overall wellness.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Change is not easy and I have the utmost respect for all of my clients. I provide my clients with a warm and safe space to process their next chapter, whether it's a new job, relationship, or grieving the loss of a loved one. Another area I enjoy exploring with my clients is their upbringing and how it's affected their relationships. I have extensive experience helping clients use assertive communication to set boundaries in their relationships. If any of this resonates with you, I would be happy to serve as your therapist. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
