MD
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion and practical tools for growth. My practice focuses on creating a safe, supportive space where clients can heal from past experiences, build emotional resilience, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life. My approach My approach is collaborative and compassionate, using CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care to help clients manage emotions, challenge negative thoughts, and build healthier coping skills. I aim to create a safe, supportive space that promotes healing, self-awareness, and lasting personal growth. My focus I work with adults and teenagers managing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Many of my clients appear strong on the outside but feel overwhelmed inside. I help them build emotional awareness, develop healthy coping skills, and create balance through healing and self-empowerment. My communication style My communication style is warm, direct, and supportive. I believe in creating a space where clients feel heard, validated, and gently challenged to grow. I use empathy, humor, and honest feedback to build trust and help clients gain insight while feeling safe and empowered throughout the process. My journey to mental healthcare My journey began as a veteran working closely with others who faced stigma around mental health. Seeing how many suffered in silence, both in the military and across cultures, inspired me to help break that stigma and provide compassionate, accessible care that empowers people to heal and grow. My goals for you I help clients reach their goals by breaking them into manageable steps and celebrating progress along the way. Together, we identify patterns, set clear intentions, and use evidence-based tools like CBT and mindfulness to promote change. My goal is to empower clients to build confidence, resilience, and long-term emotional wellness.
