What should a new client know about working with you?

First of all, I am a good listener and am very engaged in the counseling session. I have a very common sense approach, that is simple to understand. I use language that is easy to understand and will usually give someone a different perspective on what they are going through. With couples, I will avoid taking sides, and I will give simple and common sense tools to help improve communication and help de-escalate intense situations. With regard to homework, I will usually recommend some simple things to do and practice, that will help facilitate what I am trying to do in the sessions. Clients have to remember that the real work is day to day and not just during the time that we spend together. Your goals are my goals.

In-network insurances

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
