Trust, care, validation, and emotional safety are the foundation for the healing James provides. Then, together, you can begin the therapeutic work of problem solving and making changes. Therapeutic modalities like CBT, ACT, and DBT can be effective when there is a strong, safe therapeutic relationship first. In his spare time, James enjoys cooking, long walks along the Milwaukee River with his wife, good movies, and the Milwaukee Film Festival. He has been biking for years and is getting closer to being a real cyclist. Paddling, boats, camping, and photography are also among his interests.
