Getting to know James Keith Fricks
Hello, I'm Keith. I have been working in the counseling field for about 20 years, supporting children, adolescents, and adults. I understand that taking the first step to seek help can be difficult, but by working together, I am confident we can create a positive and helpful relationship. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Jacksonville State University.
I have experience addressing a wide range of mental health issues and strive to provide a safe environment where individuals can explore how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors impact their quality of life and the lives of those around them. I meet my clients where they are and collaborate with them to reach their goals.
My experience includes working with individuals who have faced abuse, self-esteem challenges, ADHD and impulse control issues, school difficulties, anxiety, depression, anger, and other mental health concerns. I have worked with clients of all ages, from 4 to 65.
What should a new client know about working with you?
After our initial intake session, we will begin to explore goals that you would like to work on during our time together, as well as developing a plan to reach those goals. Throughout our sessions we will explore feelings and behaviors and get to the root of those feelings. Therapy is a journey and can provide you with a whole new perspective on life and current situations. Through our sessions, I want to create a sense of trust and understanding that allows you to be free with your feelings and allow you to grow and change. Hopefully, achieving even more that you thought possible.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

We had a wonderful experience with Keith! He understood the challenges we were facing and worked to actively engage my son in therapy- which is a challenge given the online nature of the platform. The platform was easy to use and therapy was easy to schedule. Additionally, Keith was easily reachable via the platform messaging service.
