Everyone comes to therapy with unique needs and goals, so I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach. I work collaboratively with clients to understand the patterns and experiences that are keeping them stuck and to create a clear path forward. My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in both insight and action. Together, we identify goals, build practical strategies, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. I aim to create a space that is supportive, honest, and focused—where you feel understood while also being challenged to grow. I offer a safe and non-judgmental space to express thoughts, feelings, and actions that may be impacting your life. With experience in several treatment approaches and personalities, I work to help bring awareness and self-exploration to the extent one wishes to experience. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University and a Master’s in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University, which inform my compassionate and individualized approach to care.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is flexible and tailored to you. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model—our work will be shaped by your needs, goals, and what’s most effective for you. I often integrate different approaches within sessions, focusing both on understanding patterns and building practical ways to move forward. If something isn’t working, I welcome that feedback and will adjust our approach together. Therapy with me is collaborative, honest, and growth-oriented. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported and understood, while also being challenged in ways that help you make meaningful, lasting change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Sessions are tailored to you, but typically begin with a check-in on what’s been coming up since we last met. From there, we focus on current concerns, patterns, or challenges that feel most important to you. Together, we explore these areas to build insight and identify practical ways to move forward. Sessions often close with a brief reflection on what stood out and what you can carry with you into the week. My approach is informal, collaborative, and humanistic. While I help guide the process, I also value giving you space to bring what feels most relevant, allowing the work to stay meaningful and connected to your goals.
