Hi there, I'm Jamie! I'm Jamie Simmons, licensed in California, License No. LMFT 110655. I enjoy working with any adult and have a diverse caseload. Common areas include anxiety, depression, codependency, setting boundaries, relationship issues, and recovery from relational trauma. I help clients update adaptive relational skills that were essential in childhood but need revision to fit adult wisdom and capability. My communication style I invite you to show up as you are. I aim to hold a heart-centered, unconditionally supportive space for you. Our connection is more important than any technique or theoretical approach and is the foundation of successful therapy. My journey to therapy Therapy is a second career for me. I worked in public relations and as a small business owner for over 20 years. Throughout, I was interested in self-help, spirituality, and my own healing and growth. I decided it was time to turn my passion for growth and healing into a career aligned with who I am.
