Psychotherapist
GA
Hello, I'm Jane Kearney, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and the owner of UROSE Mental Health Services in Georgia. I provide therapy both in-person and through virtual telehealth for women and children aged 10-18. My work with children in the Coweta County School system has given me the opportunity to support young individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges. I believe in creating a safe and compassionate space where clients can explore their feelings and experiences without judgment. My journey as a counselor has been diverse and enriching. I've had the privilege of working in the Tennessee prison system, where I provided life and anger management skills to women transitioning from mentally and physically abusive relationships. This experience has deeply informed my approach to therapy, emphasizing resilience and empowerment. Additionally, I counsel women navigating the aftereffects of divorce, helping them manage emotions like anger, depression, and anxiety, and supporting them through the challenging transition from married life to singlehood. I specialize in adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, anxiety, children's mental/behavioral health, depression, family relationships, grief/bereavement, intimate/romantic relationships, life transitions, military/veteran support, PTSD, spirituality, stress, and trauma. My approach is holistic and client-centered, focusing on the unique needs and goals of each individual. I am committed to helping my clients find their inner strength and achieve a sense of balance and well-being. Working with me means engaging in a collaborative process where your voice is heard and valued. Together, we will work towards understanding your challenges and developing strategies to overcome them. I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is warm, supportive, and conducive to growth and healing. If you're ready to take the next step towards healing and personal growth, I invite you to reach out.
