Getting to know Janice Nixon

Hi, I'm Janice and I have 30+ years of experience working with addiction and mental health difficulties. I am also board-certified in clinical and medical hypnosis. Individual therapy only!! Are you overwhelmed in your day-to-day life, seemingly unable to find the perfect balance or peace you so deserve? Are you struggling with addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma or a negative self-view? I provide compassion and support while we work together to identify the areas of concern in your life and develop a plan to heal them. I utilize evidence-based treatments and incorporate mindfulness into my sessions to provide healing for the mind, body and spirit, to help you feel whole again. Let us start on this healing journey together.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I will use our first few sessions to get to know you and discuss those things in your life that you wish to change. I provide a non-judgemental space for you to discuss what is hurting your soul and will provide empowering feedback so your healing journey can move forward. I will provide homework at times to help you gain a better perspective of how your emotions, thoughts, beliefs and actions are intertwined. I will be a guide for your treatment and support you in the change you are ready to undertake to make your life better.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
