I became a counselor to help others feel better about reaching their goals and becoming their best selves, and I am passionate about my job and even more invested in your treatment journey. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of West Georgia and my Master of Arts in Psychology and Addiction Counseling from Aspen University. I hold several certifications, including National Certified Counselor (NCC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and Certified Anger Management (CAM). Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with clients in both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, as well as community-based settings. I utilize solution-focused therapy (SFT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help clients navigate various life challenges. My experience includes working with special populations such as women, veterans, delinquent juveniles, children, and the LGBTQIA+ community. In our sessions, you can expect a collaborative and supportive approach tailored to your unique needs. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, family relationships, grief, trauma, or any other concern, I am here to help you find the tools and strategies that work best for you. When I'm not working, I love spending time with my family and relaxing while listening to R&B music. These moments of connection and relaxation are important to me and help me stay grounded.
