I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Valdosta State University and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC011320). I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, addressing a variety of concerns such as career exploration and transition, behavior problems, self-esteem issues, anxiety, and depression. My background includes work in Community Service Boards, Domestic Violence Shelters, Psychiatric Hospitals, Private Practice, and providing School-Based Therapy. What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe that as people become more aware and accepting of themselves, they are more capable of finding a sense of peace and contentment in their lives. However, self-awareness and self-acceptance are goals that may take a long time to achieve. Some clients need only a few sessions to achieve these goals, whereas others may require months or even years of therapy. For therapy to be most successful, it is important for you to take an active role. This means working on the things you and I talk about both during and between sessions.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
