I have extensive experience utilizing Motivational Interviewing as a client-centered, directive method for enhancing motivation to change by exploring and resolving ambivalence. Motivational Interviewing allows me to respect the autonomy of the client while guiding them toward positive change. I have experience utilizing attachment-based treatment as a foundational approach in my work with children and families. I integrate principles from attachment theory to support clients in building secure and trusting relationships, particularly within the parent-child dyad. Based on your unique needs, I may adapt my approach to include practices like mindfulness and medication. Your goals and progress is my primary focus.
