I've worked in residential settings with adults with severe diagnoses and opened and ran a crisis/diversion program for those struggling with mental health, substance abuse, and housing needs. Most recently, I've been a tenured professor of counseling at a community college. I've embraced working with diverse individuals-LGBTQIA+ clients, racial and ethnic minorities, and older adults-and have supervised student affinity groups, founded a diversity scholarship, and provided clinical supervision to several individuals, all of whom obtained their clinical license. I believe the skills you need are inside you, and I work with you to identify those strengths and explore what has been in the way.
