Getting to know Jeanette Buller

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of California, holding a Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Fullerton. Since 2012, I have served our community by assisting adults, children, and couples with diverse life experiences in gaining clarity, perspective, and resolution. The world can be a stressful place at times, and having a safe, trustworthy, and supportive therapist can help ease our stress as we navigate life’s challenges. Throughout my life, I have found that people feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, emotions, distress, and joys with me. My professional experience includes working with children and adults facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, gender and sexual orientation-related stressors (LGBTQIA+), eating disorders, body dysmorphia, childhood-onset trauma, sexual abuse, developmental delays, severe mental illness, criminogenic behaviors (including while incarcerated), military Veterans and their families, survivors and aggressors of Intimate Partner Violence, and anger management difficulties. I openly embrace people of all backgrounds and beliefs. I believe our world is enriched by the differences that make us unique individuals, and we can all contribute to making this world a better place by practicing kindness to all—starting with being kind to ourselves.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Our first session together will be an introductory session where I will ask to hear details about the situations bringing you to therapy. I will want to hear from you how I can best be of support to you as we move forward through the present moments in life while taking into account your past experiences and beliefs. As I learn more about your expectations from therapy, we will determine the best way to improve on existing challenges, provide immediate support as needed, and we will conclude our sessions by discussing future strategies to manage stressors, practicing regular self-care, and discuss the next steps in our therapeutic process.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
