Jeffrey M. Williams, LCSW

Psychotherapist
VA
Therapy should be interactive and dynamic, grounded in a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach combined with a strong emphasis on the Strengths Perspective. I have particular experience treating a variety of issues, including depression and anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, men's issues, and personality disorders. I believe the relationship between therapist and client should be built on trust and competence, fostering open communication and honesty to facilitate meaningful change. My clinical experience began in acute psychiatric treatment facilities and has since expanded to include diverse environments and populations, working with both adolescents and adults. I am confident that the therapeutic relationship can produce change through hard work, guidance, creativity, and persistence. This relationship remains one of the most important foundations for healing and growth. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of South Carolina, which has provided me with a solid educational foundation to support my clinical practice.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
