IMPORTANT: Thriveworks cannot provide services to clients with Medicaid coverage. If you have Medicaid, please contact your plan directly to find an in-network provider. For all other insurance plans, Thriveworks will verify your benefits after you book through Zocdoc. If verification isn't completed before your visit, you'll be charged our self-pay rate of $200 for that session. AFTER YOU BOOK: Complete these steps to avoid cancellation or being switched to self-pay. 1. Check your email for instructions to set up your Thriveworks account. Within your Thriveworks’ account, sign consent forms and add a valid credit card, which will be automatically charged for copays, fees, post-insurance balances, and self-pay amounts. 2. If using insurance, upload clear photos of the front and back of your insurance card. 3. Expect a confirmation call from our team to verify your information and answer questions. CANCELLATION POLICY: Provide 48 hours advance notice to avoid the $135 late cancellation fee. My name is Jeff Miller, and I have been in the mental health field for over 30 years. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master's degree in Social Work. My experience is varied-beginning in Cuyahoga County investigating allegations of abuse and neglect with extensive Juvenile Court involvement, then expanding to children and teens in foster care, residential treatment, and adoption settings. I have also worked with adults managing chronic or acute mental health conditions and dual diagnoses. I am open to working with most concerns, though depression and anxiety-often rooted in trauma and loss-are what I most typically address. Building a therapeutic relationship and aligning with clients to find their "path" to healing is at the heart of my work. I help normalize certain feelings, and approach each person without judgment. I am honest and respectful of what a client can manage at any point in the process.
