What should a new client know about working with you?

I create a space where you feel safe, respected, and truly heard. My style is empathetic and patient; I'll listen closely without judgment. I am also direct and genuine, offering feedback at appropriate times. When working with me, you can expect me to be both supportive and straightforward. My passion for supporting others started when I was a teenager, drawn to listening, mediating, and offering empathy to those around me. I've had the privilege of working with diverse families, supporting them through stress, trauma, and life transitions. My goal is to make mental health care accessible and compassionate.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

What is it that you want to change or feel better about? These are your treatment goals, and we will talk about them often. I like to use praise, positive reinforcement, and point out small changes you may not see. The skills I teach should help you manage your emotions, stress, conflict, or build better social skills. The first session may be uncomfortable, as with anything you try for the first time. Don't give up right away if it doesn't feel easy or intuitive. It takes time to build trust and for me to get to know you. Be prepared for me to ask many questions as I learn about you and what you hope to get out of our work together.
