Experience: Throughout my life, I have always had a deeply invested interest in the psychology of the mind and how we, as people, develop emotionally and mentally, and how that all connects to our physicality. This passion guided my undergraduate career at Saint Peter's University, where I integrated this research into my work. I believed that by delivering evidence-based and clinically informed information about how interaction in all environments is fueled, I could help more people feel heard, understood, and empowered. At the end of my undergraduate studies, I found myself diving deeper into the psychological profession, which led me to pursue and earn my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgian Court University, followed by licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
During my internship, I assisted multiple licensed counselors in running various groups, including those within the Ocean and Monmouth County Court Systems. I worked independently in individual sessions and co-counseled with other licensed professionals. I diligently recorded group and individual data, maintained client files and confidentiality, engaged clients, and developed strong therapeutic relationships during one-on-one sessions.
I believe in both a wholistic and holistic style of treatment. My treatment plans are developed with the client's world and life in mind. As an Eclectic (also known as Integrated) therapist, I create treatments based on multiple theories about how change occurs, all within my scope of knowledge.
