My approach to therapy begins by meeting you where you are. I believe in honoring your unique reasons for seeking support and creating a space where you feel heard, respected, and safe. Before applying any specific therapeutic framework, I take time to understand your goals, experiences, and values. I have both training and experience in several therapeutic areas, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and trauma-informed approaches. This allows me to integrate different modalities in a way that is responsive to your needs and preferences. What should a new client know about working with you?

Are you in a season where “adulting” feels overwhelming and showing up for your loved ones, colleagues, or even yourself feels harder than it should? You are not alone, and you have found someone who truly gets it. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression that may be brought about by relationship challenges, major life transitions, work burnout, or substance use issues. Many of the people I work with are professionals, caregivers, and high achievers who are used to holding it all together on the outside but feeling dissatisfied on the inside. It can be hard to ask for help when you are the one that others rely on. Our sessions will offer a compassionate space to let your mask down. Together, we will work to untangle what has been overwhelming you, restore your sense of clarity, and help you reconnect with your strength, purpose, and peace. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where you can feel seen, heard, and understood without judgment. My communication style is warm, attentive, and collaborative. I listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and offer gentle challenges when needed to support your growth. I understand how hard it can be to open up, especially when you are used to being the strong one, so I move at your pace with care and respect. Whether we are exploring something painful or navigating a difficult change, you can expect me to be fully invested in your healing process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by both personal experience and professional transformation. My lived experiences fuel my passion for walking alongside others through grief, trauma, addiction, and major life transitions. I know firsthand what it’s like to rebuild after pain, to persevere through burnout, and to grow through seasons of uncertainty. These experiences gave me not only a deeper understanding of myself but also a profound empathy for the journeys others face. During my time working in high-pressure executive roles, I witnessed how burnout, emotional overwhelm, and the constant drive to perform can quietly erode well-being. That season deepened my insight into human resilience, the cost of disconnection, and the importance of creating space to slow down and reconnect. It also fueled my desire to support others facing similar struggles, those who appear strong on the outside but feel lost or exhausted within. As a licensed therapist, I integrate clinical training with a deep belief in the power of resilience, faith, and the human capacity for transformation. My Christian values guide my belief that people can change and that healing is always possible. Today, I am honored to support others as they face life’s challenges, overcome obstacles, and reconnect with who they are meant to be.
