Jennifer Moore, LPCC

Psychotherapist
OH
Hi there, I'm Jennifer! I am an LPCC-S with a Master’s in Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. I have been working in the field of counseling for over twenty years and enjoy helping clients remove barriers so they can live fully and freely. My approach is person-centered, developing a therapeutic relationship with interventions focused on Cognitive Behavioral approaches, positive psychology, and eclectic styles. I work with people who may have compromised backgrounds, trauma history, and substance issues, along with those exploring life changes and adjustments. I believe change is readily available and possible, as growth and change are a natural part of life. I enjoy learning from clients and want an open, communicative relationship. I believe that once trust has been established, lives can be changed. I appreciate feedback on how best to develop, reinforce, and modify the goals we create together. Life is a journey. I embrace challenges as opportunities to grow and develop the whole person. I am driven by a passion to help those who may be struggling initially leave counseling with a sense of purpose, hope, and confidence—to see the value they bring to the world and those around them. Goal setting is a mutual interaction with the client, focusing on the areas they want to develop or change. Clients should expect to leave the first session feeling heard and with a sense of hope for their future.
