Hi there, I'm Jennifer! Hello! My name is Jennifer Nickel, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Phoenix. I have worked in a variety of areas and with a wide range of ages. We all face challenges and encounter obstacles in life that sometimes seem impossible to manage. I love what I do and being able to support and help people move through and past those times in our journey that we all go through. My approach Person-Centered My focus I am happy and open to working with anyone who is ready to begin the journey of healing and dealing. My communication style I am honest and direct but kind. I use humor and am very open and understanding. My journey to therapy All my life, I have noticed that people feel comfortable opening up and sharing with me. I used to work in the medical field, and my favorite part of that work was interacting with patients and noticing how much their demeanor improved by taking the time to listen and support them. So, I went back to school and changed my career. I absolutely love what I do and being able to support individuals as they work through issues that sometimes seem overwhelming.
