What should a new client know about working with you?

My journey to mental healthcare began with earning my Master of Science degree in Counseling from California Baptist University. I completed my clinical training hours as an intern at the California Baptist University Counseling Center from 2004-2008 and at the Riverside Unified School District from 2006-2008. This diverse experience working with individuals in both university and school settings sparked my passion for helping people navigate life's challenges.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My goal is for you to gain greater self-awareness, build effective coping skills, enhance your relationships, and ultimately feel empowered to lead a more fulfilling life. Through our work together, I aim to help you develop the inner strength and resources to overcome obstacles and thrive. In our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and begin to identify your goals. I will seek to gain an understanding of your unique experiences, challenges, and hopes. From there, we will collaboratively develop a plan tailored to your needs and start the process of working towards positive change and growth. You can expect a supportive, non-judgmental space to share your story.
