Hello, I'm Jennifer. Life can be challenging, and everyone deserves a safe and non-judgmental space to work through those challenges. My goal is to support and empower you along your journey of life at whatever stage you may be in. I believe that you are the expert on you, so we will work together to build healthy coping skills and increase insight into becoming the best version of yourself. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I bring 15 years of experience with a strong emphasis on trauma-informed care. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working in a variety of settings with a diverse population. Most recently, I've been providing services in a private practice setting. My background also includes experience in outpatient clinics, community mental health centers, and a residential program. This diverse experience has equipped me with a toolbox filled with skills to address a wide range of mental health conditions such as trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, self-esteem, and life transitions, among others. I take a holistic, person-centered approach using a variety of evidence-based therapies that focus on the whole person or couple. I believe in the power of collaboration and tailoring therapy to fit your unique needs and wants. Together, we will uncover your strengths, develop coping skills, and identify goals to navigate life’s stressors with confidence. My driving force in this work is to cultivate a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can find the best version of yourself. My approach goes beyond listening and understanding; I want to teach you skills that can help you manage and problem-solve independently, empowering you towards self-advocacy.
