Jennifer Vazquez, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
Bienvenidxs! I identify as a bilingual Mexican-American woman and focus on working with Latinx women. I hold a Master's in Counseling Psychology from Mount St. Mary's University. My practice centers on supporting women experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, imposter syndrome, stress, codependency, and relationship issues. I work collaboratively with my clients to deepen their awareness through somatic techniques, mindfulness, and reflective activities. Together, we identify supports and build useful coping skills as we address generational trauma and develop boundary-setting, communication skills, and emotional management. My primary focus is on building a solid relationship with you, my client, to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up raw and authentic. I believe growth happens when we dig deep into the mind, body, and soul. The journey toward healing is not always comfortable, but I am here to hold space for you and meet you where you are. We will work together to create practices and tools you can use both in and out of sessions.

What should a new client know about working with you?

After our first session together, clients often feel a sense of relief from being able to discharge a good amount of what they have been holding. Clients can also feel empowered to take charge of their goals and decisions. Clients are also able to deepen their awareness not only of themselves but also of their relationships.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
