I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California and 6 years of experience in the mental health field providing individual and group therapy. My specialty is working with self-esteem issues, life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, and spiritual crisis (including spiritual awakening, shadow work, and the “dark night of the soul”). I operate from a humanistic theoretical framework, which means I focus on the individual as a whole, emphasizing their existing strengths and positive behaviors. I meet you where you are and welcome you without judgment. I believe strongly in the therapeutic relationship and strive to co-create with you a healing space where you can feel safe to be yourself.
I take an integrative, holistic approach with clients, incorporating emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual aspects. As a certified Karuna Reiki Master, I incorporate energy therapy into my approach. My purpose is to be a resource and a tool to assist you in becoming empowered and accountable to make positive changes and healthy choices in your life. My mental health has noticeably improved since meeting with my therapist. She has taught me various coping mechanisms and helped me identify my triggers. I feel more confident in my ability to manage my emotions and stress. Overall, I’ve been improving my relationships with my friends, family, as well as myself as a result of meeting with my therapist and for that, I am very grateful.
