Getting to know Jenny Seneor

Hi! I'm Jenny and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering telehealth therapy to folks in California. I currently have a couple slots open in my calendar---bi-weekly Tuesdays at 10 AM, bi weekly Tuesdays at 11 AM, bi-weekly Wednesdays at 4:30 PM, bi-weekly Thursdays at 11 AM, bi-weekly Thursdays at 1:15 PM. If one of those times works for you on an on-going basis, please book an intake on my calendar at anytime you see available (does not have to match the ongoing appointment time for the intake appointment). I'm queer, a parent, and a first-generation American. I had a long career in social service, social justice, and non-profit leadership and management work when I made the transition to social work and therapy. I spent years working with child abuse and trauma. I worked with many families going through very difficult life moments and traveled alongside their paths as they faced issues of physical abuse, intimate partner violence, sexual abuse, and substance use. Working with both children and adults, I've interfaced with every system out there---prisons, schools, hospitals, social services, and courts. I've intimately seen what these systems offer and the challenges they create. I hope that therapy is both effective and real---authentic and truly useful. I know that finding a therapist that feels right can be daunting and challenging. The relationship between the therapist and the person seeking therapy is of central importance. I hope to create a compassionate space for you that feels safe, warm, and supportive. This should be a space where you feel seen, heard, safe, and comfortable. I want to help you create a place where you feel the comfort and strength to explore what has been scariest or hardest for you and create the change you're searching for.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I aim to see you and meet you exactly where you are each session. I want to tune into what matters most to you and help you explore yourself and grow stronger. I'm here to provide you with a caring, warm, and non-judgmental space where we can do some digging together so you can feel more alive and have a greater sense of joy and well-being. You deserve this support, you deserve love, and you deserve the chance to live the life you want to live. Every person is unique. I want to get to know you, your needs and your dreams at the pace that feels right for you. Bring your trauma, fears, insecurities, anger, pain, questions, joy, pride, and hope--and let's dive in together.

In-network insurances

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
