Getting to know Jeremy Ramos

I have over 4 years of experience working with adults. I have prior experience of working with children on the Autism spectrum. I primarily work with clients with depression, anxiety, queer and BIPOC issues, and trauma. I have also worked with clients with SMI (Serious Mental Illness).

What should a new client know about working with you?

It is difficult navigating through vulnerability alone without a proper support system. When working with me, expect a flexible, integrative approach that thrives on a person-centered modality, use of motivational interviewing, positive psychology, ACT, psychodynamic approaches, CBT interventions, solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, usage of mindfulness, and more, depending on the client.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I create a safe space for patients to express their concerns openly during appointments. While formulating treatment plans, I prioritize each individual's needs, preferences, lifestyles, and goals. I employ evidence-based approaches to assist patients in developing healthy coping strategies. My go-to approaches are CBT, IFS, and Person-Centered counseling.
