Life can be challenging. Sometimes it does not go the way we plan, and other times changes occur that leave us feeling helpless, hopeless, and disempowered. However, seeking help is empowering. Whether you are experiencing depressive symptoms, substance use, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, ADD, or just feeling stuck, you have made the right decision to end the cycle. By ending the cycle, you will find yourself, your identity, and your purpose.
My goal in therapy is to establish a rapport and connect with you. Once established, it will be easier to identify triggers that led to these symptoms. Together, we will find different coping mechanisms that work for you to manage the symptoms. I believe that for therapy to be successful, it is essential to be interactive. Therefore, I will use different approaches such as client-centered therapy, CBT, mindfulness techniques, and more, so you are completely involved in the therapy process.
I have experience working in residential, outpatient, and intensive outpatient settings, as well as in the community with diverse clients. I intend to provide a safe, understanding, caring, empathetic, and warm environment to help you find your identity and your purpose.

I arrived to my first appointment in person only to be told that the doctor I was supposed to see isn’t in the office today. She is only doing web-cam appointments. Incredibly unprofessional and I will not be returning. I was told this was the intake teams fault so I do not put any fault onto the doctor herself.

First of all, the video call through the web browser provided from the institute was really bad where there were times I couldn't hear anything, and I'm pretty sure she didn't really hear me at times, and yet she would pretend she heard me. While she was nice, she doesn't really pay attention so that she can put together key points to help me. I saw her twice, and she was late by 5-7 min which didn't bother me at the time, but she wouldn't give me the full session so that we end 5-7 min past when were supposed to end. She constantly yawned at both our sessions, which is why she had a hard time paying attention. I have seen a couple of good therapist prior to her, and she was pretty incompentent. I found someone else who is way better, who asked me the right questions so she can guage my situation and understand me which Jeri doesn't do. She really just does not do her job
