Getting to know Jerome Scott

I have been licensed as a Marriage Family Therapist since April 3, 2003. My area of clinical practice has focused on addressing the underlying causes of anxiety, addiction, and depressive disorders. In addition, I have acquired a fundamental understanding of crises that affect the struggles involving marital relationships. As a Marriage Therapist, I have expertise in the utilization of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. It is my clinical experience that if you can effectively change your thought process, your life will radically change for the better. I earned my Master's in Counseling Psychology from Mount St. Mary's University, which has further equipped me to support individuals and couples in their journey toward healing and growth.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Jerome is an exceptional therapist. He is so kindhearted and understanding, full of wisdom and real life experience. We felt so reassured after each session with Jerome and just finished our 5th or 6th meeting under 3 months. We've solved so many issues and now communicate much better. We highly recommend Jerome for marital counseling.
Jerome is very thoughtful during his sessions. He really knows how to listen. I appreciate that he doesn't always rush to an answer but takes his time. He makes me feel seen.
