Getting to know Jesse Diaz-Franco
In addition to Talk Therapy and CBT, the cornerstone modality that I use is Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). ART is an evidence-based form of psychotherapy that utilizes back-and-forth eye movements to help clients address common problems such as depression, anxiety, phobias, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). It is not the same as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR); however, both use bilateral eye movements. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Saint Leo University, which has equipped me with a strong foundation to effectively integrate these therapeutic approaches.
