Getting to know Jesse Marquez
Hi there, I'm Jesse.
I'm a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida, holding a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Florida International University. I've had the pleasure of working with adults in a variety of settings, including residential treatment centers, intensive outpatient programs, and community-based mental health clinics.
As a lifelong learner, I believe that challenges and roadblocks are a part of life. Successfully navigating those challenges brings opportunities to use the strengths we bring to create new strategies and paths—solving problems and creating new solutions.
It is with much admiration and respect that I engage with individuals to work through some of these life challenges. I look forward to learning your stories, helping you recognize your strengths, and together finding tools to allow you to reach your goals. As a therapist, I have always believed in the strength of the individual to heal.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I assist individuals with everyday stressful life issues, improve relationships, reduce anxiety, depression and frustration, gain self-awareness, increase insight, offer another perspective, and help you develop new coping skills. I provide individuals with a safe, trusting environment to unpack the various complexities of life. Be assured that you are guaranteed to be received with acceptance, warmth, and compassion.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
